ShortShout Privacy Policy

Privacy is important. We take it seriously.

Your cell phone information.

Subscriptions via public-facing sign-ups are "double-confirmed" to prevent abuse: Cell phone users must request subscription online and then confirm this choice with a text message that is sent to their phone. Group administrators may add subscribers as necessary if they receive permission from the cell phone owner. Once submited, all group and cell phone information is kept completely confidential. Only group administrators and ShortShout employees are able to view cellphone numbers, carriers and names. No information is sold, rented, leased or in any other way revealed to 3rd parties. ShortShout never sends any unsolicited messages to your phone. Once you submit your cell phone number to be included it is stored in a secured database. It is recalled only when inspected by group administrators or when new SMS messages are sent.

If you have received SPAM or unsolicited text messages from ShortShout please tell us so that we may fix it.

If you would like to permanently be removed from receiving all future messages, please visit this page.
